Emergency vs. Non-Emergency Requests
To ensure the fastest possible response for our homeowners, it is important to distinguish between standard warranty repairs and emergency situations.
What Defines a Warranty Emergency? An emergency is a situation that creates an immediate threat to your safety or can cause significant damage to your home if not addressed instantly. These include:
- Plumbing: A total stoppage of the main sewer line or a major water leak that requires the main water valve to be shut off.
- Electrical: Total loss of power to the home (after checking with your utility provider) or a sparking electrical component.
- HVAC: Total loss of heat when the outside temperature is below 50°F, or total loss of air conditioning when the temperature is above 85°F.
- Water Intrusion: Significant roof leaks or water entering the home during a storm.
Extended Structural Warranty
Every Hidden Haven Home is backed by an industry-leading 10-year structural warranty through Maverick. While we handle your initial 1-year builder warranty items directly, your Maverick coverage provides long-term peace of mind for your home’s structural integrity.

What is Covered in the First Year?
During your first year in your new Hidden Haven Home, we provide a “Fit and Finish” warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship. Typical items addressed during the first year include:
- Drywall & Paint: Minor cracking or nail pops that occur as the home naturally settles during the first four seasons.
- Carpentry & Cabinets: Adjustments to cabinet doors, drawers, or interior trim.
- Electrical & Plumbing: Issues with fixtures, outlets, or leaks not caused by secondary damage.
- Heating & Cooling: Ensuring your HVAC system is performing to design specifications for the Oklahoma climate.
- Appliances: Most kitchen appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, but we can help you find the right contact info.
Please note: Normal wear and tear, landscaping maintenance, and homeowner-caused damage are not covered under the limited warranty.
o keep your Hidden Haven Home in peak condition and protect your warranty coverage, we recommend following this simple maintenance schedule tailored for the Oklahoma climate:
